• Horse’s age and discipline: 16 years old/ western, hunt seat, showmanship, halter.
• Tell us a fun fact about your horse (favorite treat? funny quirk?): He grows a unicorn horn in winter.
• How long have you had your horse or been involved in horse related activities? 3 years.
• Can you share the story of how your love for horses began and what drew you to become a part of the Arabian Horse Breeders Association of Oregon club? My mom brought me as a baby to the barn and let me ride. I’ve never stopped. I love Arabians and all horses. But Arabians are very special to me.
• What is your favorite horsey activity? Horse camping and galloping on the beach.
• What are your goals for this year with your horse (showing, training, personal growth or otherwise)? Teaching Ducati to bow and to do an Arabian show in the spring.
• Can you share a memorable experience, special achievement or great memory that you’ve had with an Arabian horse that has left a lasting impression on you? At the fall classic horse show, I had so much fun making new horse friends and riding Ducati. He is the best horse ever!
• Do you have any hobbies? Horses, singing, and art.
• Favorite place that you have traveled to for a horse event (show, trail ride, clinic, performance)? Going camping with the horses at the beach was magical. We went galloping and even a pajama sunset ride.
• What are you reading or listening to? The Boxcar Children
• What about your horse excites you the most right now? Looking forward to doing another horse show.
• Tell us a fun fact that people probably don’t know about you! Sometimes I eat horse treats too!
